Packing is the part people underestimate. A kitchen alone is usually four to six hours if you've never done it before, and it's where most breakage happens.

We'll pack the whole house, or just the rooms you'd rather not deal with. Kitchens, china cabinets, garages and closets are the ones customers hand over most often.

The rule of thumb is that packing takes about as long as the move itself, and almost nobody budgets for that. People take a week off work to pack a house and are still filling boxes at midnight the night before, which is when things get thrown into cartons unwrapped and arrive broken.

There's also a cost most people don't count. Badly packed boxes slow the load down, and the load is billed by the hour — so a poorly packed house often costs more on moving day than the packing would have.

What's included

Materials supplied

Boxes, paper, bubble, tape and specialty cartons for dishes, glassware and wardrobes.

Room-by-room labelling

Every box marked with its room and contents, so unpacking isn't a scavenger hunt.

Fragile-specific packing

Dishes on edge in dish barrels, glassware individually wrapped, mirrors and art in flat cartons.

Wardrobe boxes

Hanging clothes go straight from the closet to the box and back, still on their hangers.

How it works

  1. 1

    Decide the scope

Full pack, partial, or fragile-only. Most people start with the kitchen and go from there.

  2. 2

    We bring the materials

No trip to the store and no guessing how many boxes you need.

  3. 3

    Pack day

Usually the day before the move for a full pack, or the same morning for a small one.

  4. 4

    Move day

Everything is already boxed and labelled, so loading is faster — which shortens the hourly clock.

What drives the price

No two moves cost the same. These are the things that actually move the number:

We quote every job individually after a walkthrough — call (580) 362-0104 and we'll price it honestly, with no obligation to book.

Common questions

Is it cheaper to pack myself?

On paper, yes. In practice, a badly packed box slows the load, and damage claims almost always trace back to packing. Most people split it — they do clothes and books, we do the kitchen and anything breakable.

When should packing happen?

Full packs are usually the day before the move. Small or partial packs can happen the same morning.

Can you pack just the kitchen?

That's the single most common request we get. Absolutely.

What if I've already started packing?

That's fine. We'll work around what's done and pack what's left.
