What drives the price
No two moves cost the same. These are the things that actually move the number:

Common questions
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for most local moves. The last week of the month and anything in June through August fill up first — if your date is fixed, book as soon as you know it.
Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?
Clothes can usually stay in dressers. Empty anything heavy, breakable, or liquid. We'll tell you at the walkthrough if a particular piece needs to travel empty.
What won't you move?
Anything hazardous — propane tanks, gasoline, paint, aerosols, ammunition — plus perishable food and live plants on long moves. Nothing unusual, but worth knowing before the day.
Is there a minimum charge?
